You're Reading Scripture... So Where is the Fruit?
In this episode of Coffee with Hales, I take a springtime spiritual inventory and share four points on growing in spiritual maturity: be intentional about time in Scripture, understand who Yahweh is, grow through applying God’s Word (not just learning it), and remember that growth produces visible fruit in its proper season. I walk through Psalm 1 and Psalm 119 to show how Scripture roots us like a tree by living water and lights our path in a dark world, connect Jesus’ “I Am” statements to Yahweh’s name in Exodus, and use Colossians to emphasize Christ’s deity and sustaining power. I also clarify that “prosperous” in Scripture means spiritual maturity rather than material success, and I end with practical ways to reset habits and make Scripture a daily priority.
